The CWF Champions Cup is the first ever CWF tag team tournament featuring the top wrestlers of the past, present and future. Seven teams will compete for the inaugural cup including the current CWF Champions Bishop and Heart.
Several standout tag teams will be involved in the tournament, including Chad Parham and Seth Delay, Caprice Coleman and Mark “Sweet Dreamz” Howard, and Angel and current GWT World Champion Tim Storm. Newly formed tag teams competing include Colt Smith and Jay Heisman, Showtime and PFC Graham and Saul and Earl.
To qualify to compete a wrestler must be either A) a current tag team champion in a recognized federation B) a member of the CWF in good standing with CWF President Rob Vaughn.
While nothing means more than being a champion, there is something special about being the first do something. And on July 23, one team will be crowned the FIRST winners of the CWF Champions Cup.
The CWF Arena only seats 350 so get there early. Doors open at 6:30 and bell time is 7:00 p.m. See you there!

After an amazing 10 year career with the CWF — capped off with a stunning tag match with AJ Styles last month — Angel announced via e-mail Saturday night that he was calling it quits.
The Special Appointed Commissioner for the evening, Albert, read the e-mail to the CWF fans at the CWF Warehouse in Rockwall on Saturday night.
The e-mail highlighted a number of the special moments Angel has had with the CWF in his 10 year career and suggested that after teaming up with AJ Styles for a tag match in September, Angel saw the CWF as holding him back from a more illustrious career at the top of the wrestling business.
We’ve reached out to Angel for further comment, as well as for a copy of the e-mail in question but have not heard back from him as of this writing.
We are ever grateful for Angel and his contribution to the CWF and wish him the best of luck in his future endeavors.
