The latest from the CWF Warehouse

Friday, April 1st, 2011

2011 has started out with some amazing wrestling and with a lot of confusion for the CWF fans.

Angel had recently announced his retirement and Ryan Heart was out of the picture as well (for the time being). While Ryan Heart was away, his tag-team partner, Bishop must have felt a loss in direction as he began to turn on those closest to him — and the fans as well.

After several weeks away, Ryan Heart returned to see “the new” Bishop — one who had cheated his way into the position as the number one contender for the CWF Championship.

And yet, with his new found glory — Bishop backed out of the championship match, claiming he had a pulled muscle in his neck. Rather than leaving the fans in a lurch, CWF President Jesus Freak Rob Vaughn stepped in and announced that Ryan Heart, as Bishop’s tag-team partner, would step in and wrestle Jay Heisman for the CWF Championship.

Ryan Heart pulled out an amazing upset over the champion, winning the CWF Championship and bringing all three championship belts to the team of Bishop and Ryan Heart.

But an obviously furious Bishop, took the win as an insult and threw his CWF Tag Team Championship belt at the newly crowned champion before storming out of the CWF Warehouse.

The March show began with Ryan Heart making a plea to Bishop to make a mends and to continue their friendship and their winning ways. While Ryan Heart spoke in the ring, Bishop and an unknown masked wrestler came out and crushed Ryan Heart’s leg with a folding chair — seemingly snapping it in two in front of the CWF fans.

As the show continued, Colt Smith defeated Showtime Jonny Barnes by count out before he was attacked by Ron and Sean in the ring. Earl and Kelly ran in to save Colt, which setup a six-man tag match.

Colt, Kelly and Earl won the match by pinfall.

In the next match, Bishop sought to make up for his lost match against Jay Heisman — regardless of the fact that the CWF Championship Belt was no longer on the line. Bishop entered the ring with the masked wrestler, “Golgotha” but failed to dominate the former CWF Champion as Heisman fought hard and brought his F-5 finisher to the match before the lights suddenly went out, a chair shot was heard, and Golgotha was left leaving the ring, chair in hand and Bishop pinning Heisman for the 1-2-3.

With the obvious “slight of hand” taking place, Angel came out and challenged Golgotha to a match, with the stipulation that if Golgotha looses — he would be forced to unmask.

The two squared off in the ring for a solid match before Angel won by pinfall.

As Golgotha unmasked the fans were in utter shock as it was revealed that the man behind the mask was Bishop’s former tag-team partner — Ryan Heart.

The pair then went to work on Angel giving him a massive beat down despite his win over Ryan Heart.

The locker room started to clear out as wrestlers rushed to Angel’s aid but quickly joined the ranks of Angel, taking the brunt of the beat down from Bishop and Ryan Heart.

With Bishop and Ryan Heart left standing in the ring, several more wrestlers came to congratulate the team and to welcome the pair into their ranks. The tag-team champions considered their congrats before turning on these last few wrestlers and leaving the entire CWF locker room lying in the ring as the pair walked out of the warehouse proudly.

What will Ryan Heart and Bishop do next? Will the entire CWF locker room revolt against the champions? Will anyone be able to stand up against them?

Don’t miss any more of the action! Check the CWF Schedule for the next FREE show in Rockwall, Texas at the CWF Warehouse.

Updates from Egypt (11/20/09)

Friday, November 20th, 2009

Updates from Egypt:

1. The ring is together, although it took all day to do. It is structurally sound; their only concerns are the wood planks, since they were unable to use ones long enough to stretch the entire length of the ring as they normally would. Instead they had to use smaller ones and piece them together to cross the ring. Additionally, where the turnbuckles are attached to the ring posts were not fully welded. Supposedly someone is coming to do that (they hope). Please continue to pray for the ring’s performance and use.

2. It is possible that the guys may now be given 1 hour and 15 minutes to rest between wresting shows, but that is not certain. It might still be only 30 minutes. Prayer would be appreciated for this as well.

3. Prayer is requested for those who are preaching at their shows:

Day 1 — Friday in Egypt — Show #1 Rob is preaching; Show #2 Cory is preaching (first time to preach)
Day 2 — Saturday in Egypt — Show #1 Ron is preaching (first time); Show #2 Randy is preaching (first time)
Day 3 — Sunday in Egypt — Show #1 Seth is preaching (first time); Show #2 Albert is preaching

4. Most of the guys will also be giving short testimonies at some time. Please pray for what they will share during those times.

5. They are using translators, so prayers for the translators would be appreciated as well.

6. Please pray for the CWF guys’ health – that they would stay well regardless of the food, heat, or taxing situations, as well that they would be safe from injury.

7. And pray for the people coming to the shows. The CWF wrestling events are being set up as the main draw, amidst a number of different ‘events’ happening. Pray that their unique style of evangelism would be used to reach people that might not otherwise hear the message.
