2011 has started out with some amazing wrestling and with a lot of confusion for the CWF fans.

Angel had recently announced his retirement and Ryan Heart was out of the picture as well (for the time being). While Ryan Heart was away, his tag-team partner, Bishop must have felt a loss in direction as he began to turn on those closest to him — and the fans as well.

After several weeks away, Ryan Heart returned to see “the new” Bishop — one who had cheated his way into the position as the number one contender for the CWF Championship.

And yet, with his new found glory — Bishop backed out of the championship match, claiming he had a pulled muscle in his neck. Rather than leaving the fans in a lurch, CWF President Jesus Freak Rob Vaughn stepped in and announced that Ryan Heart, as Bishop’s tag-team partner, would step in and wrestle Jay Heisman for the CWF Championship.

Ryan Heart pulled out an amazing upset over the champion, winning the CWF Championship and bringing all three championship belts to the team of Bishop and Ryan Heart.

But an obviously furious Bishop, took the win as an insult and threw his CWF Tag Team Championship belt at the newly crowned champion before storming out of the CWF Warehouse.

The March show began with Ryan Heart making a plea to Bishop to make a mends and to continue their friendship and their winning ways. While Ryan Heart spoke in the ring, Bishop and an unknown masked wrestler came out and crushed Ryan Heart’s leg with a folding chair — seemingly snapping it in two in front of the CWF fans.

As the show continued, Colt Smith defeated Showtime Jonny Barnes by count out before he was attacked by Ron and Sean in the ring. Earl and Kelly ran in to save Colt, which setup a six-man tag match.

Colt, Kelly and Earl won the match by pinfall.

In the next match, Bishop sought to make up for his lost match against Jay Heisman — regardless of the fact that the CWF Championship Belt was no longer on the line. Bishop entered the ring with the masked wrestler, “Golgotha” but failed to dominate the former CWF Champion as Heisman fought hard and brought his F-5 finisher to the match before the lights suddenly went out, a chair shot was heard, and Golgotha was left leaving the ring, chair in hand and Bishop pinning Heisman for the 1-2-3.

With the obvious “slight of hand” taking place, Angel came out and challenged Golgotha to a match, with the stipulation that if Golgotha looses — he would be forced to unmask.

The two squared off in the ring for a solid match before Angel won by pinfall.

As Golgotha unmasked the fans were in utter shock as it was revealed that the man behind the mask was Bishop’s former tag-team partner — Ryan Heart.

The pair then went to work on Angel giving him a massive beat down despite his win over Ryan Heart.

The locker room started to clear out as wrestlers rushed to Angel’s aid but quickly joined the ranks of Angel, taking the brunt of the beat down from Bishop and Ryan Heart.

With Bishop and Ryan Heart left standing in the ring, several more wrestlers came to congratulate the team and to welcome the pair into their ranks. The tag-team champions considered their congrats before turning on these last few wrestlers and leaving the entire CWF locker room lying in the ring as the pair walked out of the warehouse proudly.

What will Ryan Heart and Bishop do next? Will the entire CWF locker room revolt against the champions? Will anyone be able to stand up against them?

Don’t miss any more of the action! Check the CWF Schedule for the next FREE show in Rockwall, Texas at the CWF Warehouse.

Dear Friends,

The CWF just returned from another incredible mission trip to Egypt. We were gone from November 15-23.

We spent the first 2 days in Cairo, sightseeing. We saw King Tut, the pyramids, and rode camels. We then left for the city of Wadi and helped put the ring together. The actual festival was incredible. The 3 day event had over 18,000 people attend. The CWF performed 6 events in 3 days, with over 1000 people in attendance for each performance. During the festival over 3000 people made decisions for Christ and over 500 of those decisions were made at the CWF events! After each event, we got to personally pray with hundreds of hurting, seeking, would be followers of Christ. It was an incredible time of ministry. After this trip, we have a new motto,

“We are Ambassadors of Christ, it’s our job to stand at the gates of hell and redirect traffic.”

This trip has capped off another incredible and blessed year! So many of you have supported us on these trips over the years.

We could not have done this without you! We are entering our 10th year for CWF. This year we performed our 400th event and have seen over 16,000 people come to know Christ. The CWF has performed in 29 states and now 3 countries!

The last couple of years we have performed a monthly event at our Rockwall warehouse, and have seen between 600-700 people come to know Christ as Savior!

Through the generous gifts and donations of time and talent of volunteers, we have made several improvements at the CWF warehouse over the last 5 years. We added a weight room, a concession stand, a second restroom, a second story for our video and sound equipment to go, air conditioning and heat. We have doubled our seating capacity, and can now store our travel van and trailer when they are not in use. Even with the financial crunch everyone has suffered this year, God has provided.

The CWF has been so blessed to have one man from Rockwall pay the rent on our building for the last several years. This year his business has suffered in this economy too. He informed us in September, that starting in January, he would no longer be able to support the CWF ministry in the same way he has the last several years. We have been praying about it and feel that continued on back this warehouse is worth fighting for. It is in a great location, the people who attend our monthly events love it and continue to spread the word and bring their lost friends. We have added so much to it over the years, that it feels like home. Between 600-700 people have made decisions for Christ in this building. I have had the privilege of baptizing several kids who got saved at this warehouse. We feel strongly that this facility is where God wants us!

We have sought the Lord’s direction for financial provision and feel led to this plan of action! It is called 200 x 20. We have 19 guys in the CWF and between all of us, we are seeking 200 individuals who would be willing to donate $20 per month to the CWF. This would not only pay our rent, but raise our mission trip money too! We will make it as easy as possible to donate each month.

Your donation can be made by direct debit or Paypal or by mailing us a check each month. Whichever way you choose, it is always tax deductible!

Please pray about partnering with the CWF to help keep our ministry going strong. It has and always will be our calling to see people come to know Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. If you decide to partner with us, you will receive either a text message or email reminder each month from us.

Thank you for your support of the Christian Wrestling Federation.

God Bless,
Rob Vaughn
